WHAT WE DO

We are a plastic recycling company based here in Aotearoa New Zealand. With a recycling plant in Upper Hutt, Wellington which specializes in the recycling of polypropylene (PP), high density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Expanded Polystyrene (EPS).

Taking the used material from industrial companies and in our operating plant it is returned to its original state. We are capable of recycling tons of plastic every day and allow the waste to be reused endlessly.

Investing in R&D to resolve recycling challenges. We have developed equipment that allows us to process fibre optic conduits and separate different types of plastics.

Why Recycling Matters

Plastic is widely used everywhere due to its low cost and durability This low cost has allowed it to be mass produced and the durability keeps it from properly decomposing.

By recycling we prevent plastic from entering our environment and allow it to be reused to create more value.

Does New Zealand Recycle?

New Zealand’s Recycling lags behind the rest of the world. As a small and geographically isolated country we cannot rely on other countries and so it is up to us to keep our environments clean.

Currently, a lot of material which could be recycled is instead disposed of. [Should insert link to the article]

Our Projects

Recycling EPS

Our flagship project has been to begin the recycling of EPS or polystyrene right here in New Zealand. The recycling of polystyrene is especially important because it does not break down.

Working alongside Callaghan Innovation and other engineering companies we have been developing a method for recycling expanded polystyrene. This process will return the polystyrene to its unexpanded state.

The Recycling Plant

Active as of December 2023 we have a have a functional recycling plant which is capable of recycling PP and HDPE. We have a capacity to recycle 40 Tons a month.
